Greetings! I am very happy to be here and support all of the amazing multilingual students and families at Burns Park and Lakewood! This is my eleventh year teaching elementary students. Prior to joining Ann Arbor Public Schools this year, I taught in Canton as a third grade classroom teacher for five years, and then was an EL coordinator and EL teacher for five years.

I have an undergraduate degree in Public Relations from Eastern Michigan University, and a Masters degree in Elementary Education from University of Michigan with a special focus in teaching English Language Learners. Go Blue!

My husband, two daughters: Dagny (1st grade) and Eva (one year old), and I live in Dexter, MI. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, camping, art, children's books, learning, and language.
